Step 1 - Free Consultation
Our first visit with you is of no cost. We will exchange ideas, discover your needs, both present and in the future. We will further explain our process so that you understand it clearly.
Step 2 - Conceptuals/Elevationals
We will pull together some very simple conceptuals to show you our ideas for your landscape. These pictures will not have specific plants in mind; rather to show you the color, texture, and lay out we have envisioned based on your input.
Step 3 - Landscape Design Preparation
FIELD SURVEY
Upon becoming a Nature’s Canvas client, a representative will gather measurements of your existing hardscapes and softscapes on your property; collect information about your soil structure/conditions, sun and shade patterns, and microclimate conditions. We observe and note any current or potential issues that could affect your design.

BASE PLAN
From the site information gathered Nature’s Canvas will develop a base plan, as it is today, for your new landscape. This will give way to the Master Plan, which will always be a reference for your new design.

CONCEPTUAL IMAGES/ELEVATIONALS
With the base plan as a reference, we will develop Conceptual images of your new landscape design that will show you the dynamic technique of Nature’s Canvas; including specific plants, etc.
Step 5 - Final Landscape Plans
Step 4 - Your Landscape Designer at Work for You
Now you will begin to experience your new landscape design as your Landscape Designer discusses your design objectives, desires and budget. You will review your property’s limitations and hidden potential. Finally, your Landscape Designer will take you on a journey through your new landscape.
With the your design finished, your landscape starts taking form as it goes into action. You may elect to schedule installation in its entirety, in phases, or do part of it yourself. Whatever your plan may be, you can be at peace knowing that you have a road map to the landscape of your dreams.
